The Big Lunch & Big Help Out 2026! 🎉

We litter picked and we lunched. What a lovely way to spend a few hours. AND IT DIDN'T RAIN!!

Thank you to Northampton Town BID and Tamsyn Payne for the lend of the pickers, Veolia - UK for lots of hoops that we're now custodians of and Heather Korbey for the bin bags.

Thank you BBC Northamptonshire for letting me chat about our weekend plans. 🧺

The biggest thank you to Northampton College for showing older adults from Affinity Day Care CIC such a wonderful afternoon! (Keep watching for some loveliness 🥹)

Don't forget we're meeting at 11am this Sunday for our litter pick then having our bring your own picnic lunch at 12. See you at The Umbrella Fair Organisation - UFO ☂️

We'll be having a Big Lunch & Big Help Out this Sunday 7th June.

Meet at 11am at The Umbrella Fair Organisation - UFO on the Racecourse, we'll tidy up the neighborhood because caring about your community is cool.

Then we'll find a spot on the Racecourse to sit down at 12pm for a bring your own pic nic.

If you can't make the litter pick and the lunch, don't worry, come to what you can.

A couple of hours of wholesome fun to restore your faith in humanity! See you there ❤️

🥳 You're invited to The Happy Hood Big Lunch!

We're getting together on Sunday, 7th June at The Umbrella Fair Organisation - UFO for a very wholesome day! We're going to take action to make our community better and then celebrate our hard work afterwards. 🧁

11am - Meet at UFO for a litter pick around neighbouring streets. All equipment provided.
12pm - Reconvene at UFO and then find a nice spot on the Racecourse to sit down for a bring-your-own picnic.

If you want a bit of loveliness and human connection, this is for you!! No need to book a spot, just turn up. Tell all your pals!!
