Black Sabbath have announced that the title of their brand new studio album will be named “13” and due to hit stores this June. Even more excitingly is the news that Brad Wilk of Rage Against The Machine has collaborated with them in the studio. This comes after original drummer, Bill Ward (far left), refused to join the band reunion in May last year after disagreements about the tour.

BREAKING NEWS!!! David Bowie had a birthday surprise for his fans today when he released new single ’Where Are We Now?’ after being in retirement for ten years. If that was not enough he has also released his first new album ‘The Next Day’ for pre-order on iTunes, with a wide release scheduled for March. January the 8th is of course David Bowie’s birthday, a magical moment for such treasure to appear as if it came from Mars.

Pierce The Veil and All Time Low are co-headlining on a North American. The dates for the “Spring Fever Tour” were announced today and will also feature Mayday Parade and You Me At Six. The shows kick off on April 11th in Tulsa and continue until May.

“This tour was a long time in the making for all of us,” says Pierce The Veil lead singer Vic Fuentes to AltPress. “All of the bands have crossed paths over the years at festivals and random shows, but we’ve never been together in one place at the same time, on the same stage. We are all long time friends and we cannot wait for the inevitable chaos that will ensue on the Spring Fever Tour.”

Green Day will be hitting the road on a 2013 tour beginning in March. The announcement is the first statement released since Billie Joe Armstrong entered rehab in 2012.

Armstrong announced this tour to fans on his Instagram page, posting a picture with the words:

“Dear friends… I just want to thank you all for the love and support you’ve shown for the past few months. Believe me, it hasn’t gone unnoticed and I’m eternally grateful to have such an amazing set of friends and family. I’m getting better everyday. So now, without further ado, the show must go on. We can’t wait to get on the road and live out loud! Our passion has only grown stronger.”

Guns N’ Roses guitarist Ron ‘Bumbleboot’ Thal has turned to his page to shame British music magazine NME for twisting his words into an attack on Axl Rose.

His initial statement was given in an interview with Ryze-Up magazine to help young musicians succeed in the industry. In the interview he stated:

“1. Be on time. By ‘on time’ I mean ‘be early.’ Make sure you’re there for when you need to be — wait in your car, communicate, let them know 10 minutes early that you’ll be there in five minutes and walk in five minutes later.”

This interview from Ryze-Up was used by Metal Hammer magazine to poke fun at Axl Rose by running with the headline, “Guns N’ Roses Guitarist Bumblefoot Advises Young Musicians To “Be On Time”, Should Probably Extend That Advice To Axl.”

However NME.com then mistakenly used commentary off the Metal Hammer site stating Bumblefoot had said, ”Remember kids, only massive goobers make a habit of not being on time.”
