Here’s to hoping things look up this week. And praying for better weeks ahead🙏🏻 in 2025.
Our SoCal community has been through Hell this past week, to put it lightly, and to be honest is very wounded, heartbroken and dark. (as I write this caption, the wind has kicked up again and is forecasted to be unrelenting again for the next few days, so pray for no more fires/destruction). The sad stories and images we have heard and seen on our local news, social media, from friends and family, are unbelievable and forever imprinted in our minds now. One thinks how can anyone recover from this emotionally and financially. It really is overwhelming to comprehend for sure. But let me tell you something if you’re not from SoCal, the people here are gritty and tough, all the while kind, loving and generous too. I pray that so many who are suffering loss right now will eventually find their human instinct of survival to rise up to face the reality to fight to survive even in the most darkest hours. Because beauty WILL rise from the ashes…
I took the suggestion from Lillian last week to buy myself some florals over the weekend to overcome the empty feeling of January. She always is doing floral arrangements and also spreading kindness and love, Lillian is truly a gem! It really was the best way to boost the dopamine, motivation and spirits through all the darkness that was looming. I kinda forgot the last time I bought myself flowers, maybe September 2024??…so it was time. It really felt good to focus in on something pretty and restore some life in my living room. Im still working on it and things are already changed up since ai took these photos! 🤦🏻♀️So when you’re feeling a little ick, go get yourself some flowers! It very therapeutic!
Sending love and light to all💟
