The Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board voted to recommend clemency for Tremane Wood.

The 3-2 vote was a stunning outcome in a case where the Oklahoma attorney general had personally intervened to try to secure Wood’s ex*****on.

The decision over whether to grant mercy to Wood now goes to Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt (R), who has only spared one man from ex*****on since becoming governor in 2019.

Tremane Wood has also asked the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals and the Supreme Court to review his allegations of prosecutorial misconduct and stay his ex*****on, which is currently scheduled for Nov. 13.

All above pending outstanding and late appeals.

Next warrant of death is scheduled for November 13th in McAlester state Penitentiary in Oklahoma for Tremane Woods, who’s currently under investigation for drug offences.

According to the state’s clemency packet, which included copies of prison disciplinary records, Woods has trafficked in drugs and contraband and solicited violence against other inmates while incarcerated.

Reports from Florida say the vans have left the prison, indicating that the ex*****on of Norman Grim has concluded. He is the 15th person executed in Florida so far this year.
