Never before has our military been used like this on our city streets.
We have Sheriff's, local Police, SWAT, and even local Marshalls to police our streets. Our military should never be used, or even trained against the citizens of the United States. They should not be training to do so.
Invading closed shopping Malls, Hospitals, Neighborhoods? Absolutely not good. Paramilitary riffles to shoot us?
More Pete Hegseth crap. He is a total fascist, and must be stopped. Our State and Congressional leaders need to stop this now! Remove him. And I mean now..100% Wrong!
We are supposed to be celebrating 250 years of Freedom. Freedom from what? Tyranny exactly. But this is Tyranny. We are no longer a free country when this happens.
Policing is strategic and specific. Directed against individual criminals and perpetrators. Military forces are broad and shoot against a line of people in an area? They don't sort, they are trained just to just shoot without warrant. Militaries are not about individual freedoms or specific individual justice. Our military is supposed to defend our borders and shores - not our streets. That's the job of our police and local law enforcement.
That's called Paramilitary. Not on our streets and not against our citizens.
We are supposed to be a Government by the people and for the people. A government of the people, not against the people. Our taxes should not be used to attack us.
Hegseth is sick in the head too and needs to be removed. Outrageous!
Our constitution is not a liberal concept. This is not a liberal post. Preserving our government as it is meant to be is actually a conservative concept. Standing up against Tyranny is neither liberal or conservative. I write this to conserve our constitution. Trump and Hegseth are radicals.
Thomas Paine, Ben Franklin, and Alexander Hamilton would have railed against this. This is exactly why we have a constitution.
