The Wayne Rooney disrespect is getting out of hand. It's also pretty clear that it comes through fans who weren't around to see his prime & just how GOOD he was.

The ONLY criticism there was of him back then was that he didn't maximise & get everything out of himself.

You're talking about one of the most naturally gifted & talented footballers England has ever produced.

A player who could play any position, sacrifice his role for the betterment of the team, could change a game in an instant.

He was UNPLAYABLE at his best.

There is a reason he is a hero to so many. Some of you will never get it, because you didn't experience it.
