Why we LOVE Marietta! Today, Jerry McKenna @ 87 years old was shoveling and busting up the ice on the side walk @ Front St at "The Buckley House" when a silver pick up truck pulled over, the driver got out and told Jerry, "You look like you need help". He proceeded to take the shovel from Jerry and clean the side walk. What an inspiration and a good deed. Thank you . Marietta Main Street Harmar Village - Marietta, Ohio Marietta Ohio

Good evening,it’s that time of the year again,when archery antelope hunters try to hide there vehicles from the antelope,by parking and leaving there vehicles on the road just over a hill. I wonder if they think if I park on the road the antelope won’t suspect anything. I don’t know if they park in the middle of the road and leave there vehicle in there home states,I bet not. I issued tickets last year and will do again this year. If you see a vehicle parked on the road,send me pics of plates,pic of vehicle on the road and what road they are on. If I can’t make it to where vehicle is,I will issue the registered owner the ticket. Text to my cell phone please. This picture is from today on the Clanton rd. Some how it needs to get through to them,there are people that drive on these roads and are not for parking. It is just a matter of time before someone is hurt or worse because of these idiots parking on our roads. Please be safe and watch for hunters as they park anywhere. Rant over have a great night
