Sand tiger sharks (Carcharias ta**us) filmed off the coast of North Carolina, gliding around a wreck. These sharks are known for their slow, steady movements and usually keep their distance. As the dive went on, I got more comfortable and was able to move in for a closer look.

While the searched for treasure off North Carolina, I spent my dive hanging out with this Sheepshead (Archosargus probatocephalus). Known for their bold stripes and powerful, human-like teeth, Sheepshead thrive around wrecks and rocky reefs, using their strong jaws to feed on crabs and shellfish.

On a wreck dive off the coast of North Carolina, I watched as larger fish herded clouds of tiny fish into tight bait balls, turning the water around the wreck into a fast-paced hunting ground. Every pass sent the baitfish darting in all directions, while the wreck itself seemed to pulse with life as the feeding frenzy played out. It was a front-row seat to the constant action happening just below the surface.
