Irony of life!

Late Stella Obasanjo, the wife of the former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo attended a programme close to where she obtained her Secondary School education.

After the programme, while stepping out of the venue, she heard somebody shouting, "Aunty Star! Aunty Star!! Aunty Star!!!

This was the name her juniors in school used to call her while she was in her Secondary School.

She turned around and saw the woman calling her and ordered her escorts to allow her pass through.

The woman informed her that she was one of her juniors while they were in school.

Her Excellency was so pleased to meet her. The woman took the opportunity to plead with Mrs. Stella to assist her, as she was a widow and was suffering with her children.

Her Excellency, being a very compassionate woman asked her to name what she wanted her to do for her. The lady replied her by saying "Anything".

This question was put to her again and she repeated the same answer. So Her Excellency instructed one of her escorts to give the woman the sum of fifty thousand naira (N50, 000.), she then gave the lady her private phone number and asked her to call her in two weeks time, that she was about to travel out of the country, and that by the time she returns, she should have thought out exactly what she wants her to do for her.

The woman went home rejoicing and even testified in church.

However, before the two weeks elapsed, Chief Mrs. Stella Obasanjo died abroad in Spain while undergoing a surgery.

LESSONS!
-Always know what you want in life, and don't settle for anything less.

-Success occurs when preparation meets opportunity.

-Opportunity is a visitor, when it visits you, try to maximize it as it may never come visiting again..

"Kanye West was a perfect husband for me but I divorcéd him because he falls asleep anywhere, anytime. He used to fall asleep even when we're making oût." __ Kim Kardashian

"Kanye West falls asleep anywhere, anytime. We'll be at a meeting, then he'll introduce me to people I've never met before and while we're still talking, he'll just fall asleep. Or we'll just be at a restaurant and he'll sleep and snore like a generator. Sometimes he even falls asleep when we're making oût. He sleeping sicknēss was just so annoyîng and that's why I divorcéd him."

13 DESTINY KILLERS MEN IGNORE UNTIL IT'S TOO LATE

This is the raw undiluted truth you need to hear.
Read digest and mend your ways..

1. WOMEN, WOMEN, Everything on skirt.
Most men ruin their lives chasing curves, big nyash, big bwess. Most men chase empty fantasy and thrills.
You spend your small earnings and most of your time on women who in return share her body to other men, women who have no atom of love for you.
There’s no trophy for a high body count — only invisible scars, STDS and wasted years.

2. GAMBLING — THE CANCER OF DESTINY.
You think it’s fun? This is cankerworm eating your finances.
That “one more bet” might cost you everything.
Time. Money. Peace. Your name. You might end up suicidal and depressed.
You don’t win with luck — you win with skills, discipline, and hardwork.
3. ALCOHOL — THE DRUNK MAN’S DESTINY IS A DYING FLAME.
You drink and spend more than you save.
You inherit hangovers while your peers inherit assets.
A man who spends his salary at the bar leaves his children inheritance of shame.

4. TIME WASTING — THE SLOW KILLER.
You sit and watch television all day, you gossip, argue football while other men build empires.
Time is currency. Waste yours and life will waste you.

5. FRAUD (AKA YAHOO) — FAST MONEY, FAST MISERY.
You may flex today but you’ll rot inside.
Quick money is expensive — it costs your peace, your future, and your soul.
It’s not a shortcut, it’s a su***de note.

6. SMOKING & DRUGS — ADDICTIVE IS SLOW DEATH.
Drug of any type.
It starts like fun — ends with depression, memory loss, and madness.
You’re numbing pain but feeding your destruction.

7. LAZINESS — THE ENEMY WITHIN.
You are broke because you refuse to work.
You want soft life with zero hustle.
If you love sleep more than work, poverty will tuck you in. Dont use the nature of job as excuse. No food for a lazy man!

8. LACK OF SELF-CONTROL.
A man without discipline is a loaded gun pointed at his own head.
No routines, no boundaries, no self-mastery.
Weak man self-destruct.

9. DISRESPECTING YOUR PARENTS.
When you insult your parents and abandon them — watch your blessings dry up.
Life may not punish you immediately, but it never forgets. What you give your parents same thing your children will give you.

10 DEPENDING ON OTHERS FOR SURVIVAL.
A man who begs through life is worthless and that man dies without dignity.
Stop leaning on people for basics — build your own table.

11. BAD FRIENDS — DESTINY KILLERS.
You move with 5 jokers? Don’t be shocked when your life’s a circus.
Your circle determines your future. Show me your friends and I will tell you who you are

12. LIVING TO IMPRESS PEOPLE AND SOCIAL MEDIA.
Posing like a king, living like a peasant.
Buying iPhones with empty bank accounts. Borrowing and owing to look rich to impress others. There is no gain in fake life. Cos your destiny helper might meet you richer than him on social media whereas you hardly feed twice a day. Fake life destroys .
TikTok won’t pay your rent, bro.

13. EMOTIONAL WEAKNESS — THE INVISIBLE TRAP.
Soft-hearted, zero resilience. People's pleaser,
Crumbling at rejection.
Giving up at failure.
Life is tough. Be tougher.

---

FINAL WARNING:
Stop blaming the devil for what your poor decisions keep creating.
Destiny isn’t automatic — it’s BUILT.
With sweat. With strategy. With sacrifices.
No pain no gain!
If you don’t fix your habits, your habits will finish you.

Start now:
✔️ Master your time
✔️ Build real skills
✔️ Cut off dead weight
✔️ Harden your mindset
✔️ Chase legacy, not thighs

A story to learn from!

"TWIN BROTHERS SAGA"

We Shared Everything Since Birth. But When Success Knocked, He Opened the Door and Locked Me Out.

1990. Nsukka, Nigeria.

My name is Chinedu.
I was born three minutes before my twin brother, Chibuzo.

We shared a womb, a crib, and a destiny — or so I thought.

Growing up, we were inseparable.
When I cried, he cried.
When I laughed, he echoed it.

But by the time we turned 18, life had begun drawing a line between us — one I didn’t see coming.

Chibuzo was charming, loud, extroverted.

I was the quiet one. The planner. The dreamer.

But I didn’t mind.

I believed love covered everything.

Until love became a sword.

2008. University of Nigeria, Nsukka

We both gained admission into UNN.

He studied Mass Communication.
I studied Computer Science.

While he partied and flirted, I stayed up studying.

I helped him write his projects.
Helped him pass a carryover.
Even covered his debt once when he used his school fees to impress a girl.

That girl?

Adaora.

She was stunning.
Bright eyes. Soft voice. Gentle soul.

She was the first woman I truly loved.

I told Chibuzo about her.

He said:

“Ah ah, you? With Adaora? No worry, I go help you arrange am.”

I smiled. Grateful.

Naively grateful.

They started hanging out “on my behalf.”

One evening, I went to surprise her.

What I saw broke me.

They were kissing in front of Zik’s flat.

My own brother.

My twin.

When I confronted him, he laughed and said:

“Bro, she chose me. Life no be by who love pass. Na who move fast.”

I wanted to hate him.

But blood is not easy to hate.

I stayed distant. Focused.

Graduated with First Class.

He barely managed a 2:2.

2014. Lagos.

I got a job with a big tech firm.

The offer came with relocation and a ₦7.2M salary.

The only condition?

A physical verification with my original credentials.

That night, I celebrated with my mother.

But by morning, everything was gone.

My certificates, My ID.
My reference letters.

Gone. Only one person had access.

Chibuzo.
We searched.
No clue. Two weeks later, I got a call from the company.

> “Sorry sir, the position has already been filled. Your credentials were used.”

I was stunned.
“By who?”
“Chinedu Udeh,” they said.
I am Chinedu Udeh.

But someone had already claimed it.
I tracked the Lagos branch. He was there.
Wearing a suit. Using my name.
Living my life. When I confronted him, he didn’t even deny it.
“Guy, this life no balance. You dey shine, I dey suffer. I just borrowed your name small.”

I threatened to expose him.

He said:
“Go ahead. Let’s see who they believe — you, or me with the job already in hand? I went home.
Defeated. 2016. The Reset. I started again.

This time, I changed my name to Daniel Nedu.

Began freelancing as a backend developer. Coded websites at night.
Built apps during the day.

Lived in a boys’ quarter with no fan.
Ate eba without soup for weeks.

But God saw me.

By 2018, I landed a remote contract with a U.S. startup.

Monthly pay? $5,000.
I built slowly.
Quietly. 2021. The Turnaround

I founded CodeRise Africa — a tech hub for underprivileged youth.

Trained 700 developers in 2 years.

Sponsored 40 through university.

One day, I got a call.
From Adaora. She was crying.

Her marriage had ended.
Her husband had drained her savings.
Left her with a child and debt.

That husband, Chibuzo
She said:“He lied to me. He used your stories. Your dreams. Your words. I married a man pretending to be you.”I said nothing.

Sent her ₦2M to start again.

Put her son on my scholarship list.
Not to win her back. But to win back myself.
2023. The Full Circle

The tech company that rejected me years ago invited me to speak at their African Summit. Theme?
“Reclaiming Identity in a Digital World.”

I walked up the stage in a black native.
With confidence.

They didn’t recognize me. Until I said:
“I'm the real Chinedu Udeh. The man whose shadow was stolen — but still rose to shine.
The hall erupted. Even Chibuzo — sitting in the crowd — stood still.

Ashamed. Powerless. After the event, he came to me.
“Forgive me.”
I said:“I already did. But I’ll never let you steal another minute of my name again.
Today, I own 3 startups.
Hire 56 staff.
Feed 150 widows monthly.

I still sign documents as Daniel Nedu.

But the world now knows who I truly am. From betrayed twin…
To tech pioneer.

From stolen name…
To household name.
From lost brother…
To found legacy.

Sometimes, the person who stole your name…
Becomes the reason the world learns it twice as loud.“He took my name, but not my future” if you've ever lost something, only to rise higher.

A father said to his son , "You graduated with honors. Here is a Volkswagen beetle that i bought many years ago ... It is over 50years old , but before I give it to you, take it to a dealership downtown and ask how much there are offering you."

The son went to the dealership, came back to his father and said, "They offered me $10,000 because it looks very used." The father said, "Take it to a pawn shop."

The son went to the pawn shop, came back and said, "They only offered me $1,000 because they say it is too old."

Finally, the father asked his son to take the car to a classic car club and show it there. The son took the car to the club, came back and said, "Some people at the club offered me $100,000! because it is a very rare car and sought after among the members."

The father said to his son, "I wanted you to understand that the right place appreciates you in the right way. If they don't value you, don't be angry, it just means you're in the wrong place. Those who know your value are the ones who truly appreciate you. Never stay in a place where they don't recognize your value!"
