Jim Parsons was very embarrassed in himself while acting out the scene with Stephen Hawking. He said that even though he knew that Mr. Hawking loved to be a part of the show, he felt so inappropriate about putting the greatest mind on the planet into a scene in the sitcom.
“I was really uncomfortable. I thought, “This is not right!” I have been faking how smart i was to play Sheldon by saying the lines other people wrote but I didn’t know what i was talking about, and now I am face-to-face with the smartest person on the planet! There was so much life and information coming through his eyes and that was amazing.” Jim Parsons said in the Big Bang Theory book.
