Jacob Velazquez, ‘Reflections of Passion’

Just by listening to Jacob play popular classical pieces on the piano, you wouldn’t know that he was only 8-years old or that he has autism but you would come to understand why he has appeared on television shows like The View, Telemundo, NBC, CNN Headline News and more.

The passion and feeling Jacob puts into his piano playing is simply amazing. Jacob began playing at age 4 while watching his dad play and his parents quickly realized his gift and that they should focus on his abilities rather than his diagnosis.

Today with multi-award winning producer and songwriter, Hal S. Batt, Jacob has recorded his first album that includes tracks from popular classical piano to uplifting dance groove, which is available on ITunes.

Jacob’s piano playing has taken him to on the adventure of a lifetime including meeting Taylor Swift who tweeted, “ I HAVE to give you a hug for that beautiful piano medley you did. Please come to a on my tour and say hi to me? My Treat.”

Paloma was discovered by Robert Hayes, Artist Manager, Founder and CEO of Sound Management while participating in Fashion Rock in Orlando Florida. She gained the attention of radio station KDON, FM 102.5 after forming Latin Pop group “Paloma and the Rubys.”

In 2010, Paloma toured as a DJ for Natalia Kills, then partnered with Jay 3 to form “PJAYZ.” Their new original sound blended electro hip-hop and Pop. PJAYZ performed throughout the San Francisco Bay Area with big named artists like Far East Movement, 3OH!3, Gym Class Heroes, Andrea Nickatina and more. Their first album, “System Overload” was released in 2011 and several songs were featured on major shows like MTV’s “Real World,” Fox Network’s TV Sitcom: “Bones,” [System Overload] E!'s “Keeping up With The Kardashians,” “Bad Girls Club,” and in a major motion picture, “Cat Run.” [Do-It].

Paloma’s first solo album, goes back to her roots as a passionate singer/songwriter and songs that showcase who she is now. She writes or co-writes the songs she records and her single “President” was featured on MTV’s Finding Carter.

At 14 years old, singer Hannah Layton Turner, was taken by her mum to a local recording studio where she was to record a moving song for her Grandad’s funeral. When she opened her mouth to sing, the producers were left speechless…for all the RIGHT reasons!

Hannah progressed through her schooling but her beautifully understated voice would not leave Barnaby Pinny and James Reader, who had witnessed it all those years ago. Hannah was invited back to the studio several times and by 17, this unique vocal talent was ready to embark upon an exciting musical journey: the collective Hannah’s Yard was born and an incredible debut album recorded.

With an acoustic approach, the forthcoming album ‘Beginnings’ features 14 songs recorded in Hannah’s home town - the small English town where ‘Amazing Grace’ was written in the 1770s. The collection of meaningful songs about life and love - 13 original songs and a cover of ‘Amazing Grace’ itself - includes a recording of Hannah at just 15 years of age. The album also brings together some of the UK’s finest musicians who have collectively performed with the likes of Lionel Richie, Kylie Minogue and Damon Albarn …to name but a few.

Ilana J is a talented artist from Birmingham, England and currently resides in Connecticut. Her musical background began with classical piano at a very young age but was put on-hold for a more traditional education and career path. Ilana found new inspiration a few summers ago while in Maine and by chance met Mark Alexander, ex-keyboard player for meatloaf who became her producer.

With Mark Alexander, Ilana J wrote and performed EP “Free Falling from the Ground Up,” which was comprised of 6 original songs and EP “Backstrokes,” which was released in 2015. The lead track off this new EP is called “Not Alone” and Ilana has a UK tour planned for summer 2016.

Ilana J’s single Angle was written for a boy named Josh whom she has known since he was a toddler. Josh suffers from Angelman syndrome and Ilana J has dedicated the proceeds from this song to fund research for a cure. Over the years her musical style evolved naturally as she recorded tracks in her home studio. You can contribute to the Angelman foundation here:
