Everyone wants to be a high-paid SMM… but are you willing to learn the parts that happen behind the scenes? 👀

Hindi lang naman kasi about Canva, posting, or making Reels.

You also need to understand your audience, do your research, plan content with purpose, check your analytics, learn new tools, and create a workflow that actually helps your client.

And honestly, hindi naman kailangan alam mo agad lahat.

The important thing is you’re willing to learn and improve along the way.

Kasi the more you understand the business behind social media, the more value you can bring to your clients. 🤍

Claude is working for me… but no, hindi siya magic. 😂

Well, of course, kailangan mo pa rin ng magandang prompt para makuha mo yung output na gusto mo.

Hindi yung:

“Claude, do this for me.”

Nope. 😂

Mas detailed yung instructions mo, mas maiintindihan niya kung ano talaga yung kailangan mo.

I usually give it a role, task, goal, context, and specific instructions para mas relevant at detailed yung output na mabigay niya.

And just to be clear, hindi ko naman sinasabing gawin niyo rin lahat through AI.

Human skills are still very important.

AI can help you work faster, organize your thoughts, research, brainstorm, and handle repetitive tasks—but you still need to know what you’re asking for and how to evaluate the output.

Also, Claude isn’t exactly cheap, and mabilis din maubos yung credits kapag ginagamit mo siya for bigger and more detailed tasks. 😂

So for me, the goal isn’t:

“Let AI do everything for me.”

It’s more like:

“Let AI help me do my work better and faster.”

And honestly, knowing how to communicate with AI is becoming a skill on its own. 👀

𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙖𝙣, 𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙞 𝙠𝙖 𝙣𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙣 𝙣𝙜 𝙘𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙙𝙖𝙝𝙞𝙡 𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙞 𝙠𝙖 𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜. 𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙖𝙣, 𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙞 𝙠𝙖 𝙣𝙖 𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙜𝙖 𝙠𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙣.

And I think this is one of the hardest things to accept as a freelancer.

Kahapon, I lost one of my long-term clients.

I’ve been working with her for more than a year as her Graphic Designer. And honestly, kahit ilang months na kaming walang masyadong tasks, I still tried to send her something whenever I could.

Paulit-ulit man yung photos, I’d still find ways to create different content around them.

Pero after tax season this year, wala na siyang masyadong promos, events, or anything that needed graphics.

So naturally, wala na rin akong masyadong ginagawa for her.

And yesterday, she decided to end our working relationship because she simply doesn’t need my services right now.

And yes, masakit.

Not because I think I failed.

But because I know how much that client meant to me.

As a breadwinner, malaking bagay sa akin ang bawat client.

Ako lang ang currently working and providing for our family. Yung bills, pagkain, needs sa bahay… sa akin lahat umaasa.

So losing a long-term client like this honestly made me feel stressed, scared, and exhausted.

I’d be lying if I said hindi ako napagod.

I’m honestly at the edge of burnout right now.

There are moments na mapapaisip ka talaga…

“Paano na?”
“Saan ako kukuha ng bagong client?”
“Kaya ko pa ba?”

But I also know that I can’t stay there forever.

So kahit mabigat, babangon ulit ako.

I’ll keep looking for clients—locally and internationally.

I’ll keep improving my skills.

I’ll keep putting myself out there.

And I’ll keep reminding myself that losing one client does not mean I lost my value.

Sometimes, a client leaves because they no longer need the service.

And that doesn’t erase the work, trust, and relationship you built with them for more than a year.

So if you’re also going through a season where things suddenly feel uncertain…

I hope you know that it’s okay to be scared.

It’s okay to feel disappointed.

It’s okay to take a moment and breathe.

But when you’re ready…

bangon ulit.

One client lost doesn’t mean your journey is over.

Maybe it just means it’s time to find the next one. 🤍

Hindi ko man alam kung ano ang mangyayari next, pero susubukan ko ulit.

And this time, I’m going to keep going even if I’m scared.

Mii, alam mo yung feeling na gusto mo lang subukan kahit di ka sure saan papunta?

That's how Sassy Socials' mascot started.

I opened ChatGPT one night, typed a rough idea, and hoped something good would come out.

It did.

Then I brought her into Canva. Text, mockups, colors, lahat.

No designer. No expensive tools. Just me, figuring it out slide by slide.

Honestly, may mga part talaga na paulit-ulit ko ginawa kasi gusto ko siyang tama.

But looking at her now, parang ang saya isipin na dito lang siya nagsimula. Sa isang idea at kaunting tiyaga.

This is the same process I bring to my clients. Simple tools, real strategy, tapos yung end result na proud ka ipakita.
