LET THERE BE DARKNESS is the solo project and creation of African-American writer / producer and vocalist Charles Richburg. While being involved with the goth and industrial L.A. scene for 20 years, Richburg has become a leading proponent and pioneer of SDM (Satanic Dance Music) which allows him to draw inspiration for exploration and expression by various means of darkness.

For the new album, “Satan’s Property”, LET THERE BE DARKNESS partnered with renowned industrial music producer Karloz.M (Manufactura / Broken Fabiola) to produce a new blend of different genres and styles, from club inspired techno-EBM fusion with deep electro synth-pop and industrial dark wave. The album also features an artistic juxtaposition of religious symbolism with a “Satanic Gospel” type of approach giving the listener a unique stimulus to explore and question conventional ideas.
