Mele è il nuovo video estratto da ‘...E Alla Fine Della Storia non c’è Alcuna Redenzione‘, il nuovo album dei romagnoli Solaris per Bronson Recordings – potete ordinarlo qui. Un personaggio fuori posto, intrappolato in un mondo di simboli rigidi e replicabili, dove l’identità si scontra contro le pareti lisce della normalità. È da qui che nasce il video di Mele dei Solaris, realizzato da Selvatico Studio sotto la direzione di Cugeeno Benatti ed Emilio Rossi: un’opera visiva potente, disturbante e profondamente coerente con l’estetica tagliente del brano.

About 'Modern Night'
Self-produced by Alex and mixed and mastered by Maurizio Baggio (Boy Harsher, The Soft Moon), 'Modern Night' musically defies easy categorisation. There are echoes of AOR radio ballads, post-industrial funk, and soul music stripped of optimism. Think of it as future nostalgia with dirt under its fingernails: a deeply contemporary work that rejects digital perfection in favour of analogue imperfection. As Fernet puts it: “In an era of over-edited sound, the most radical act might be to let things breathe.”

Cemento Atlantico - new video for 'Kashi Fire' OUT NOW on our YT channel! enjoy!

This time, the setting and the field recordings take shape in Uttar Pradesh, in the city of Varanasi on the banks of the sacred Ganges, where the Varuna and Asi rivers converge.
Varanasi is also known as Benares or Kashi (in ancient Sanskrit), meaning "city of light,” whose central temple preserves the eternal flame of Shiva, from which every funeral cremation fire originates.
The video seeks to document the contradictions, religious key points, and customs of the final funeral rites that take place day and night at the Manikarnika ghat, the oldest and most sacred stairway on the banks of the Ganges River. For Hindu people, dying here brings liberation (moksha) from the cycle of reincarnation (saṃ sāra).

This track is more intimate: a whispered confession in a smoke-filled lounge. There’s romance here, but it’s disillusioned, filtered through VHS fuzz and draped in the kind of synth-pop sadness you might hear from a car stereo in 1983, parked outside a closed-down bowling alley.

I Solaris arrivano anche su Rumore!

si suona più forte e più asciutto, i testi sono sempre più problematici, la speranza è quasi sparita, le luci in fondo al tunnel sono sempre più fioche.

the sound is louder and drier, the lyrics are increasingly problematic, hope is almost gone, the light at the end of the tunnel is increasingly dim.

A tough direct album, characterized by tight, sharp and powerful sounds, that had its roots in noise-rock, with a visceral energy and great impact.
A concentration of abrasive post-rock where the witch hunt, the scapegoat, the confusion between victim and executioner become metaphors of an irreversible internal drift. An album that digs deep into the tensions of the present, without sweetening or illusions.

Solaris are one of the greatest expressions of guitar oriented post-everything rock, a sound that has become increasingly epic, granitic and of great impact over time. The never banal lyrics express all the discomfort that pervades a generation. A disillusioned band, a mirror of the decadent Italian outskirts.
