Weird one today. Drew peg 6 on Merrys. Figured out how to fish it in the last hour of the match.

But I spent my day getting snagged under the water no matter where I fished. I lost count of how many rigs and old line I dragged out too. Absolutely horrible peg on that point.

Started down the edge had a few carp to about 3lb. I was plagued by stockies all day.

Had a couple on the bomb later on.

But last hour and half I fished a top kit off the right of my platform and also next to my nets and had a decent run. I really don't like that kind of fishing but it seems the way to go on there at the minute. If I'd done that from the start but used maggots and 6mils instead of 8mils & corn id have probably emptied it.

I didnt weight in but had about 30-40lb. I reckon about 2-300 won it but didn't hang around to find out as united are on. 🤙

Merrys today at Grange Park. Hopefully get a decent draw. Touch wood, I usually do alright on there. 👀 A match win and united smashing the gooners would do me today. 😅

Well. I've weighed in 54lb 11oz. Finished third, second beat me by an ounce.

There are still fish tailing up in front of my while I'm writing this 😂😭 It's been black all day but they haven't been interested.

I threw everything at them. I managed to catch a few fishing over depth on the pole in about 6 inches of water. Feeding big pots of micros with groundbait and 8mil pellet. Corn is the only thing I could get a bite on. When it hammered it down I had a really positive run of fish. As soon as it brightened up they went daft again.

I'm genuinely surprised I got nothing on the bomb or method. Last time I fished this peg I had about 70lb and lost around 20 carp. Today I've landed everything I've hooked. But had they been having it I reckon 300lb would have been doable at the least 😂 crazy day.

It's been a while but we're back out on the bank Sunday. At one of my favourite venues, Tyram Fisheries. Im hoping for a better draw than last time we were there. 🤦

So after some scientific research the old boy & I discovered the reason for me not catching last match. Turns out the wafters im using are now too boyant for the hooks I use. 😅🫣 So I've been practically fishing zig rigs. 😂😭
