So after some scientific research the old boy & I discovered the reason for me not catching last match. Turns out the wafters im using are now too boyant for the hooks I use. 😅🫣 So I've been practically fishing zig rigs. 😂😭

Managed to land a carp today. We're making progress.
Pulled out of two. One foul hooked & one lump that gave a cheeky head shake to get rid of the hook.
No idea what's going on with the fishing lately but it's awful. Here's some pictures of a pond that's actually stuffed with fish.

Imagine not getting a single bite all day on a commercial fishery 😂💀 Drawn 63 on islands lake at messingham sands. I knew it was gonna be a bad peg. Even more so when I realised it was 2-3 foot deep. 😂
Just over an hour to go and I've not had a touch. I don't remember the last time I went somewhere without getting a single bite. Absolutely shocking.

Well. I wanted to draw late to let some bad pegs go but I got giddy at the bag and drew 63. Not where I fancied and it seems about 2- 3 foot deep all over. 😂 At least we're fishing though. Pictures and report later. Have a good day if you're out on the bank. 🎣💪
