I’m making the BEST change to my career.
(After a bit of an existential crisis this year.$
I promised my SELF and my girls,
That this month, when my retreat is over
(Which takes place this week!)…
That my schedule is permanently changing
to working only until 3PM daily.
And I have cried over nearly daily over this lately,
in the best way.
I’ve known since the day 2 lines appeared on a pregnancy test for my oldest,
That my personal brand was going to be my SECRET WEAPON:
🧨for getting the BIGGER, safer car
🌹AFFORDING to have an assistant in our office
⚡️REPLACING myself (the invisible workload of the home) since I had cooked dinner everyday, cleaned the house, and scrubbed toilets 🚽 the whole time I built up my company, and I would NOT be able to be all things to all people after baby.
🐆 I knew my personal brand would be my superhero, and my BIGGEST support, when the pandemic happened and my husband lost his job.
💵 It was what paid our family, attracted the BEST people (and clients!!) and kept me HOME with our girls.

For YEARS! Even with a nanny!)
😭😭My GOD, the fu***ng gratitude. 😭😭😭
My brand has been my greatest asset in motherhood.
💗AND….
I noticed a SHIFT in my oldest daughter this summer.
My workload got bigger.
The pressure felt nonstop.
My hours got longer.
My daughter…
SOBBED.
I would see her in the hallway between calls.
And it broke me.
This?
Was the OPPOSITE of everything I built.
THIS?
My child crying “mama, I just want to BE with you” 😭
Made me ask:
What. The. F**K. Am. I. DOING?

It was pivotal, in a way only a mom can understand.
——
I love women’s empowerment.
But this wasn’t it.
((For ME.))

I promised my daughter that this fall,
We were going down to 4-day workweeks.
7AM-3PM.
4 Days.

I’m ECSTATIC. 🤩
Logic says I’ll “make less”…
Firstly… f**k it.
2…
I kinda bet we can make more.
