It was my intention to present a modest entertainment of a seasonable nature—a Halloween performance, one could say—on the first of November. Circumstances, however, not the least of which being the fact that the date has come and gone, have obliged me, obviously, to somewhat revise that plan, and to postpone it until the 15th. Though no longer a specifically Halloween-themed offering, the evening nevertheless will not pass without its diversions: I shall offer eight new pieces for your hearing, several of which were written within the past month and are still finding their shape, we will have an audio visitation from Lord George Roughshod, and among other things, revisit two older compositions, with which, I daresay, those who are somewhat familiar with my music may be already acquainted.
