Sometimes, you just have to stay still.

The reason why many people drown isn’t the water—it’s the struggle.
They panic, they flail, they fight… and the fight wears them out.

But what if you stopped struggling?
What if you just floated—let go, and trusted the stillness?

Not every battle requires noise.
Sometimes, the victory is in your surrender.
Stillness can save you.

Welcome to the 1st Episode of our journey of sharing deep, Holy Spirit-led insights as I study the Bible, starting with Matthew.
Why did God include Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, Bathsheba, in Jesus’ genealogy? These women carried scandal, rejection, and unconventional pasts—yet God chose them. Society writes people off, but God writes them into His story. Your past doesn’t disqualify you.

God Uses the Unexpected
Tamar’s desperation.
Rahab’s past.
Ruth’s outsider status.
Bathsheba’s scandal.

Yet, all were part of Jesus’ lineage. Society may call them unqualified, but God called them chosen. Stop believing the lie that your past is too messy for God’s purpose.’ If Jesus’ genealogy teaches us anything, it’s that God doesn’t follow human standards! He has a place for you in His Plan.

Idolizing Popular Names in Ministry

The Lord once taught me a deep lesson about how people idolise popular ministers. I remember when a guest minister came to my former church—everyone was lackadaisical, waiting for the "main" popular preacher to take the pulpit. And when he did, as expected, the congregation was drenched in emotions.

But the Lord spoke to me, saying He had already come since the Sunday school session, moved in the hearts that were ready, and left. Yet, many only recognise His presence through grand emotional displays—tears, loud tongues, and dramatic expressions—mistaking that for true encounter.

May the Lord give this generation true sight to discern His presence beyond the spectacle.

"The Scriptwriter"

There is a script, carefully written, authored by the One who sees the end from the beginning. If you are confident that God is the Writer, then the pauses, the delays, and even the painful plot twists are not mistakes—they are intentional strokes of grace.

Sometimes, those who carry a certain level of grace also carry a certain level of pain. Not as a punishment, but as a reminder. A reminder that they are still man, still dependent, still held together by mercy.

Pain humbles. Pain refines. Pain keeps the heart bowed even when the feet stand on high places.

So if your script has a chapter of waiting, a season of uncertainty, or a page soaked in tears—don’t rush to edit it. The Author is still writing. And He never wastes ink.

The Danger of Pulpit-Driven Ministry

I once had a vision where the Lord revealed to me the struggles many ministers face. They become so consumed by pulpit preaching that they neglect true fellowship and communion among brethren. If you are not called to be a shepherd, no matter how powerful your ministration, you should remain under leadership or mentorship. A person without true headship will eventually lose direction. Yet, for the ignorant, the applause of the pulpit becomes more important than genuine spiritual growth. May the Lord help us to remain humble and aligned with His will.

Men Worship

Too often, I see Christian men placing their faith in flawed humans rather than in Christ himself. Having role models isn’t wrong, but when your example for living is shaped more by a man than by Jesus, it’s time to be cautious. No matter how wise, anointed, or admirable a person may be, they remain imperfect. True faith should be anchored in Christ alone, not in personalities. Be careful that your devotion is to God, not to men.

Youths should learn to endure yokes in their youth and persevere through difficult times, quietly praying till their joy is full.
Lamentation 3:27 -28

I will Pray!
Until my joy is full
I will speak to my father
I will pray and not be weary
Until my joy is full.
You can perceive my thoughts from far away
You are know my way, you know me
Before a word is on my tongue, you know it completely
I will pray
Until my job is full
