Dads are the best. Well, all right, moms still take the cake when it comes to parenting, but dads are certainly no slouches. History is full of amazing dads who come up with fun ways to keep kids entertained.

Superior Siren, a local band, is playing Lake Place Park for the Music in the Hart Series. If you want to support some awesome women musicians come check them out tonight at 4:30pm.

Superior Siren has played at many venues in the region, but outside at Lake Place Park seems so fitting. Catch them today at 4:30pm for the first concert of the Music in the HART series. We are proud to support this event with help from the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. 🎶☀️

Whoops. I was too busy enjoying the nice summer weather and tunes to make a June artist highlight. But better late than never, right? Jorja Smith is an up and coming artist whose debut album "Lost & Found" has been making big waves in the music scene. When she was 18, she uploaded her first song "Blue Lights" to SoundCloud. She has since collaborated with big names in the industry such as Drake and was featured on the Black Panther soundtrack album. Jorja has a unique style and voice, making the simplest lyrics and rhythms sound beautiful. It will be exciting to follow such a fresh artist's career and see where she goes. -Vicki https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PA5uuBCtZ5k
