🎃 IT'S HALLOWEN WEEK, ON THIS "TEAR-IT-UP-TUESDAY"! 🎃
BOO!! 👻 Hey, did I scare ya'? LoL How's it going, Heavy Metal Hobgoblins? This is Kevin Smith. Or, maybe for this week I should change it to, like, "Count Kev", or something. My favorite holiday of the year, Halloween, is happening this coming Friday! But since tonight will be my only opportunity to hang wit' youz guyz, until Halloween is over, I'm going to need to acknowledge this momentous occasion, tonight! I've been furiously searching for songs to set the proper mood for, "The Eve Of All Hallows", and I found a whole slew of good ones. So, tonight will be a night filled with quality, Metal tunes that mention things like: ghosts, witches, vampires, werewolves, mummies, monsters, zombies and "Halloweeny" things, of that nature! And of course, if you would like to contribute something to the playlist, please do so! Just make sure it fits the theme, if you would, please. Even tonight's Build-A-Block feature will have an appropriate, Halloween theme. Nancy suggested the word, SCREAM for that particular feature. So, my thanks to her, for the suggestion. The U.K. consists of 4 European countries (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) that are all under British rule. Some of the greatest bands, in the history of heavy music, come to us, from this part of the world. In fact, it would not really even be a stretch to say that Heavy Metal actually originated, in the United Kingdom! No not like, harmful, metallic particles in the atmosphere, but ear-pleasing, heavy-ass tunes! 🤘😆🤘 What's happening, Metalheads?! This is Kevin Smith checking in with you, once again, on this gorgeous, Fall, Tuesday afternoon. I was hoping that you would join me, this evening, on our nation's hardest station, REBEL RADIO. ~ "TEAR-IT-UP-TUESDAY" IS HERE, SO YOU SHOULD BE, TOO! ~
That's right, Metalheads! Join me, Kevin Smith, tonight on the one and only, REBEL RADIO, from 7:00 PM, until Midnight, broadcasting worlwide, from here in Chicago. It's the first show of October, and the 40th Tuesday of 2025. And as usual, I've got a thoroughly jam-packed show in store, for your auditory senses, this evening. Things will get started off, with an opening 6-Pack of bands, from New Jersey, U.S.A. Some Metal from, "The Garden State"! After that, we'll get right into our once-a-month feature, The Album Of The Month. And for October, we're going to be taking an in-depth listen to a great album, that was released by DEFTONES, just 46 days ago. The album is called, "Private Music", and we're going to be cranking it out, in it's entirety, on tonight's show. This album is getting great reviews and has some very solid tunes on it! That's why I thought it would be a good selection, for this month. Then, following the album, we head straight into the time machine, and set the dial for 36 years ago, for this evening's "Tear-It-Up-Tuesday Total Time Focus". The year 1989 is the one we'll be visiting tonight, and listening to a killer cross-section of the Metal released, that year...and there was a lot of it! That's right! Summer officially ended, yesterday, and my personal favorite season, has finally begun! Time for cooler weather, bonfires, blazing colors and of course, heavy-ass music! Which is something you get 24/7 - 365 on, "The Hardest Station In The Nation", Chicago's own REBEL RADIO. And tonight I, Kevin Smith, will be your on-air host, from 7:00 PM until Midnight (U.S. Central Time) happily sending that ear-pleasing wattage, directly to your cottage...or perhaps your car...as the case may be. A great show will be in store for you, if you join me! Things will get started with an opening, uninterrupted 6-Pack of songs, by bands from the state of Florida, here in the U.S.A. Some heaviness from the southernmost state, in the contiguous 48. We'll also have some new releases to sample. There'll be new music from: Arch Enemy, Biohazard, Coroner, A Killer's Confession and a few more. And very much like our own, American Independence Day, on the 4th of July, the perfect accompaniment for ANY celebration is some heavy-ass Metal music! And I would like to be the one to provide that for you, this evening, from 7:00 PM until Midnight (Central Time), on Chicago's REBEL RADIO, "The World's Epi-Center, Of Metal!" I've got a show put together, that is quite "patear el c**o", for tonight! Things will get started with an opening 6-Pack of bands, from the great city of Cleveland, Ohio.
