Ever had a piggy steal your heart (and your lap)? 🐷💕

Visiting a pig café was already on my Japan bucket list, but I had no idea just how cuddly these little guys would be! The moment I sat down, this adorable piggy made itself right at home on my lap—and stayed there over 30 minutes of the entire time we were there! 😍

‼️ Tip: If you’d like a pig to come to your lap, the trick is simply to lay still with your feet straight out in front of you and wait. You can’t pick up the pigs yourself but if they don’t come to you after a while one of the cafe attendants with bring one for you to spend time with. 🐖✨

1️⃣ Arrive Early: Get there at least 60 minutes before the park opens to snag the best spots for timed-entry attractions like Super Nintendo World, which now includes the new Donkey Kong Country land. 🌅

2️⃣ Book Timed Entry for Nintendo World: This is a must! Reserve your spot ASAP after entering the park via the USJ app. ⏰

3️⃣ Dine at Kinopio’s Cafe: The themed food is as Instagrammable as it is tasty. Menu items may change but my favorite was Yoshi’s Spinach Carbonara! 🍄

4️⃣ Catch the No Limit! Parade: A vibrant spectacle with Japan-specific parade characters like Pokemon, Hello Kitty, Mario, and more—it’s a highlight for sure! 🎉

5️⃣ Try Unique Snacks: Each land has specific unique snacks and drinks you should enjoy. I personally highly recommend the JAWS Splash Ramune drink on a hot day. 🦈

6️⃣ Don’t Skip Seasonal Shows: Shows like Detective Conan 4D Live are exclusive to USJ—check the event calendar for updates! 🔍

7️⃣ Shop for One-of-a-Kind Merch: USJ’s gift shops are packed with unique souvenirs you can only find in Japan, especially from their seasonal anime collaborations.

8️⃣ Explore Beyond the Rides: Check out meet-and-greets like the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park and the Kuromi Live show! 🐣

9️⃣ Use Single Rider Lines: Speed up your wait times on rides like Hollywood Dream and The Flying Dinosaur. 🕒

🔟 Plan for Lunch Early: Popular restaurants, especially the limited-time themed ones, get crowded after 11:30 AM, so aim to eat before or after the rush. 🍔

‼️ Tip: Donkey Kong Country just opened up at Universal Studios Japan, which means if you’re heading over any time soon, you need to get there EARLY and reserve your timed entry immediately upon entering the park to get a chance to go into Super Nintendo World. Since Donkey Kong Country is inside, once you get inside Nintendo World, you’ll have access to the newest land.

‼️ Tip: The Super Nintendo World layout in Japan is different from the one in Hollywood so I recommend not missing it. While the Mario Kart ride is the same, I especially recommend it because this one has an extra ride with Yoshi’s Adventure, a slow peoplemover that has you play mini games while on the ride. Check it out in my next reel!
