Today is the tenth anniversary of the airing of the first episode of the original Podcast on WNTN 1550. Those were good days with a lot of fun times. Back then, the experience was fresh and something everyone involved thought would last forever, or for a long while anyways. Life doesn't always work out how you expect it will, but you should still make the most of it.

Here it is, Game of the Day Post #3000. It took eight years to get to this point.

Keeping up with this daily blog has been a humbling experience. The sheer variety of games is practically unbelievable and at times can be really eye-opening. Seeing all of it has been a reminder that games are for everyone and that anyone can make a game, regardless of who they are, where they come from, what their status is, and what means they have. The biggest limiting factor to any game's creation is imagination.

It is my hope that as I continue to run this blog that you will continue to read it too. Share it with your friends and family, share any ideas for any games you'd want to see posted, and share in this experience of everything that gaming represents.

A little more than a month ago, there was an issue with how the website was loading on two Android mobile devices. The issue was resolved on its own and then reappeared over the past weekend, now affecting desktop and tablet devices.

This time, it has been resolved with updates to the code running the Game of the Day portion of the website.

I want to note that the code running Game of the Day has not been changed or modified in several years. The engine running the program is designed to be static for perpetuity or until certain aspects are deprecated for which I have no control over.

For anyone and everyone still reading the blog, thank you. As of today, there are 2,846 active posts. And there are still tens of thousands of games out there.

Hello everyone! I'd like to do a quick survey.

How does our website load on your phone, tablet, or computer?

This morning, there was a loading issue on two separate Android devices. I'd like to determine the root cause of that issue to ensure the website experience is consistent for everyone.

In the meantime, I hope you are still enjoying the posts made for Game of the Day. It has been a while since anything else significant has been uploaded or updated and I do miss doing that.
