PNG SUN Interviews Tambaran Culture Band member Pius Wasi, 62, of Chambri Lake in Ambunti, East Sepik.
He said the remnan band members of Sanguma, Tumbuna and Tambaran culture were regrouping for a bigger gig in the lead up to the Independence Celebrations in September.
The father of five and grandparent to 9 children said: "PNG's traditional music and instrument are your (singers and musicians) to tour the world."
On promoting PNG culture at the global stage, he encouraged young singers and musicians to make their singing arts unique while blending both modern and traditional music.
