Karolina Pozniewska led with 4 goals in the two-game stretch. Ida Talanda also put up 3 points (1G-2A). Nadia Ratajczyk started both games, stopping 44 of 50.

Two big wins by Metropolia Silesia this weekend!

Leading offensively were Emilia Stankiewicz (1G-1A) and Karolina Pozniewska (1G-2A). Nadia Ratajczyk got both starts, stopping 41 out of the 45 shots.

The Polish squad will be back in action next weekend vs. the 🇦🇹Kärnten Lakers.

Poland U18 secured two big wins over Spain!

Leading the women's junior team were:
Agata Cybulska 4G 2A
Karolina Gawandtka 2G 2A
Weronika Świątek 2G 1A
Antonina Maciołek 3A
Ewa Rojek 1G 2A

In net, both Natalia Wójcik (4/5 SVS) and Oliwia Chrapek (9/11) got starts.

The U18 squad also played a scrimmage against a team of TLHK players, but I was unable to find a score.

Poland U18 swept their two matches against Hungary this weekend.

This was Hungary's U17 squad, but it was good to see Poland win and control the game, given the level of opposition.

Poland U20 split a series against Ukraine U20 this weekend.

In game one, Tyczyński made 36 saves in the win. Gumiński, McGovern, and Zachariasz each scored.

In game two, Jaworski made 34 saves in the loss. Janik, Laszkiewicz, and Makuła had the goals for Poland.

This was a strong Ukraine roster.

- 6 players returned from their 2025 U20 team.
- 11 debut from their 2025 U18 IIHF squad.

Both will play in D1A for the 2026 season, so it's good to see Poland compete and win a game. Ukraine held control more often, but white and red had their moments.
