Yesterday this beautiful house was used for training purposes by our awesome Nolensville Fire Department. Development is going to change our town but we hope to preserve the memories through photos and stories. Last spring Michelle Jenkins from the Nolensville Historical Society and I had the honor of walking the grounds with the previous owners and the story was featured in the March 2022 issue. We have some copies available at our office for those who’d like one. Also, posting here if you’d like to learn more about the Waller/Serio house.

Historic Nolensville Buttercup Festival will be here soon! Grab your friends and family and join the fun!

Printed maps will be available the day of the festival but you can preview the vendors here with the 2023 Buttercup Festival map. There really is something for everyone! At this year's festival you will find 160 vendors & food trucks, the Little Miss Buttercup Pageant, a Car Show, a Dog Show, a corn hole competition, games for kids, pony rides, the scholarship presentation and so much more!

It's time for the Spring Shiny Sheet!
So excited for you to read the new issue!

The very first Shiny Sheet went out in the spring of 2017. It has evolved since then but the mission is still the same. We exist to help Nolensville's small businesses affordably and creatively reach their audience. Many of our advertisers have been with us since the beginning and with their continued support, we are able to donate some of the space in our layout for our non-profits and community news. We are a small publication but when you open an issue of the Nolensville Shiny Sheet, you will always find local advertisers, learn more about our local history and find ways to get involved in your community.

The 2023 Spring Issue is out now for distribution with the post office but if you do not want to wait, you can grab your issue around town! The magazines are waiting for you at:

Excited to start our 7th YEAR of publication!
We are working on some great stories and ads are being designed with SPRING in mind! If you would like to join our spring “Buttercup” issue, please reach out. If you live or own a business in Nolensville, we would love for you to advertise in our hometown magazine! Let’s make 2023 a great year for local business!

FYI:

NOLENSVILLE SOCCER has opened spring 2023 registration. It will run from today until February 18th. Registration link is here. Here is the link to our age matrix for new families as our age groups differ from other sports. We are in the 2022-2023 season on the chart.

For our new parents, we play all games and conduct all trainings at Osburn Soccer Complex just south of Nolensville. Games are played on Saturdays and times vary from 9am to 2pm depending on age group. Practices are once a week during the season at a time and day determined by the head coach. Prior to opening week, we allow the coaches to have one weekday practice and one weekend practice.

Our retuning players from fall 2022 will have the option as part of registration to request to be placed on the same team. If you choose to stay with your fall 2022 coach, please add the coaches name in the comments section.

Also, you will be asked if you are a returning player from fall 2022. If you are, then please choose yes as this will trigger a uniform discount since we re-use our fall uniforms for the spring. If you choose no, we will order you a new kit.

Practices will tentatively start the week of March 6th and games will begin tentatively on April 1st. The season will run until May 20th (mother nature’s tantrums aside). We will have a double header weekend built in mid-April.

We are always in need of coaches and volunteers. Please reach out to me if you have any questions about volunteering for the spring 2023 season.
