We need to set the record straight before we release Separate Checks tomorrow!

A friend of ours informed us at the premiere that she was excited “…to see it again.”

😳 It dawned on us that maybe we hadn’t been as clear as we should 🤦‍♂️

This is not the same Separate Checks we made in 2012. This is a part reboot / part continuation.

Also extra special thanks to anyone who came out even though they thought it was the same film. That’s a very special kind of love ❤️

TONIGHT'S THE NIGHT! The Separate Checks Web Series Premiere is finally here. Venue is The Color Club. Doors @ 5PM. Show @ 6PM. Band @ 6:45PM. Last Call @ 8PM. Afterparty . See you there!

You do not need a ticket to enter the event. We're expecting a good crowd, but please feel free to bring any last minute friends!

There will be complimentary snacks available to everyone at no charge. The venue operates a bar with beer, wine, and select cocktails for purchase.

Wanted to right a wrong over here! Yesterday when we announced the Separate Checks Web Series Premiere, we also debuted our poster.

In all that excitement, we forgot to shout out to the incredible artist who brought our idea to life. If you don't already know Jen Hines, please take note! She's an incredible artist and creative collaborator.

In fact, our work with Jen began during production of the film with the concept drawings embedded in this event flyer. Now we don't want to give too much away, BUT these aren't random assortment of sketches. They were crafted in collaboration with us to help tell a big part of the story.

In short, we couldn't have done this without her!

It's been too long, but we promise it's been worth it! Here's a little backstory.

10 years ago we made a short film entitled Separate Checks. We loved it, we were proud of it, and we didn't know what do with it when we were done.

A lot has happened since then. Other movies, career changes, and life goals. Somewhere along the way, our writing began changing too.

This past winter we assembled a top notch cast and extraordinary crew to bring the first episode to life.

And now we're ready to share it with you! There's a lot more coming, but for now, mark your calendars for this coming Sunday, November 20 for our Separate Checks Web Series Premiere! Can't wait to see you there!
