event season is here. between graduations, school fundraisers, galas, and religious ceremonies, this tends to be even busier than the holidays for many of my clients.

when there’s a theme at play, the easiest way to approach it is by starting with a simple base from your existing wardrobe and leaning in through the accessories — a shoe, a bag, a great piece of jewelry.

the key is restraint. there’s a very fine line between 2011 RL runway chic and full hoedown.

there is no back, we only move forward at curāt!

with my first two babies, i felt the quiet pressure to “bounce back,” to return to a version of myself that no longer existed - especially working in fashion. the third time around, i’ve learned the most powerful way to feel like yourself again is to wear what you love.

i prefer jeans and pants over dresses - i buy the next size up and rely on great pull-on styles.

you don’t need an entirely new wardrobe. just a few intentional additions can shift everything.

this applies to every transition and shift my clients move through. style isn’t about returning—it’s about evolving.
