MGM+ has ordered “Bosch: Start of Watch” to series.

The prequel will star Cameron Monaghan as Harry Bosch in his rookie days in the LAPD, with Omari Hardwick set to play veteran officer Eli Bridges.

The series is based on Michael Connelly’s Det. Harry Bosch books, which spawned the original series. Production will begin in Los Angeles in 2026.
