As of today, August 1, 2026, there are just 48 days until Oktoberfest begins in Munich. The 2026 festival opens on September 19, 2026, and an exciting new album release has been timed to be released to the fun-loving Oktoberfest crowd just in time for the party!

The Music…
The album serves up 15 fun party tracks of alpine-inspired music with fused influences from traditional and contemporary Oktoberfest music, Euro-Techno, EDM, Schlager, Après-ski, Country, and Rock music. Summed up, The Oktoberfest Album, by Kline, Lewis & Meixner is a sing-along, chant-along, sway-along, stomp-along, clap-along, dance-along romp that’s sure to entertain everyone looking for that special, Gemütlich experience.
8 of the 15 tracks on the album are original works by the trio including: Here’s to Everybody at Oktoberfest, (a quintessential chant-along song tribute to everyone and everything of Oktoberfest); The Glacier Yodel, (serene alpine bliss, where the fire of the sun meets the ice of the glacier and inspires one to yodel as the alpenglow bids farewell to another day in the mountains); The Woodworkers Oberek, (a simple tune inspired by the traditional woodcarvers of the Alps and the folkloric legends that fuel their imaginations); The Dutchman and His Beer, (the hillbilly dude’s approach to Oktoberfest drinking and falling hopelessly in love with hops, complete with a moral of the story); The Yodel Round or Fugue U, (the only thing better than one alpine yodel is a yodel repeated over and over in a round, or as Bach would call it, a fugue. Let your inner yodeler free with this yodel-along song); Two Sisters and One Wiener, (having a super time at Oktoberfest, the girls get hungry but the chefs at the Wiener Platz are running low on food. What can be done?); The LaLa Song, (this song pays tribute to the South American connection to Oktoberfest which has inspired massive parties masquerading as carnivales and festivales around the planet. Get your Latin vibe going); and Our Happy Polka, (if nothing else, polkas are meant to be happy music, and with this one you get to chant Prost, Prost, Prost, Prost!)
The other tracks include: Jux Polka, (a rousing version of a traditional polka); Bier Hier, (a cover of a much-beloved beer song, because what would an Oktoberfest, wedding reception or any other party be without beer?); Hop Sa Sa, (that old school song that gets people swaying, jumping up at their tables, chanting and clinking their glasses together); This is How to Yodel, (the yodel song that every true alpine party person must try to sing at least once in their lifetime); Country Boy, (Radio Version), Country Boy, (Extended Version With Calls), and Country Boy, (Extended DJ Version Without Calls), (not one, not two, but three different versions and covers of the classic John Denver song Thank God I’m a Country Boy.)
The Musicians…
Alex Meixner: Based in Texas, this multi-instrumentalist musician and songwriter is one of the hardest working troubadours in show business today! His dedication was recognized with a Lifetime Achievement induction into the International Polka Association Hall of Fame. Alex is frequently on the road entertaining fans throughout the USA. His time in the recording studio has created many memorable albums of traditional and Meixner-style crazy train tracks that people mob dance floors to mosh-along to! Dave Lewis: A multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and veteran live performer, based in Pennsylvania, Dave Lewis is the GUITARMINATOR! Dave can shred with the best of them but can also pull it back to a gentle alpine feel on a nylon guitar when called upon to do so. A master studio engineer and production artist, this guy is who you want on your team when it comes to making great and memorable music! You can find Dave’s recordings with his talented wife Amy, under the band name Lewis Music, Inc., on all major digital download and streaming platforms. In addition to his musical talent, Dave is an expert guitar luthier and repair technician. The signature electric Bavarian flag blue and white diamond-patterned guitar used at live shows was made by Dave and is a custom version of his popular Pipeline model.
