Dave Kline & The Mountain Folk Band at yesterday's Mountain Folk Fest was a jam band by design. Bringing five musicians together to perform live together as a group with no pre-rehearsal, for the first time, in the spirit of the fest's teaching/learning/jamming vibe. The electric energy of such a situation is palpable. Here's our tribute to the Father of Bluegrass Music, Bill Monroe, with a jam version of his classic tune, "Rawhide".
