Port Harcourt is the Capital of Rivers State and one of the largest cities in Nigeria.

The city is located in the oil-rich Region of Nigeria and is home to Two Refineries, a seaport, an International Airport with two terminals ( One for International flights and the other for local flights), and home to more than 10 big shopping Malls, home to three stadiums ( Adokiye Amiesiamaka, Sharks and Yakubu Gowon Stadiums )

Nowadays people eat everything that moves, we thought Chinese only enjoys them but Africans enjoys it in various soups .

Other places and tribes they called this beautiful worms; Yorubas in Nigeria called it Kanni while some called it monimoni.

Other places they called it, Mopani worms, Mani Mani in Nupe language, Tibati in Siswati language Swaziland, Mphalabungu in Malawi, Oyuo.

Many Africans said is very delicious and in Kenya certain hotels it cost for £20 a plate.

The Goodwill Ambassador of The Drug Law Enforcement Agency under the Ministry of Interior, Mr. Mamour M Mbenga and Executive Director of Africa Drug Free Foundation, On Thursday 9th May, visited AFIA Football Academy Foundation in Banjul.

Mr. Mbenga meet Team Manager of the academy club, Coach Tejan Yullah who grace the visit as timely.

Ambassador Mbenga sensitize the young athletes the negative impact illicit drugs have in the sports industry.

Mbenga briefly highlights areas of interest for a sports development program under the Mantle leadership of Africa Drug Free Foundation (ADF).

He urge the young athletes to stay focus , avoid commiting illegal activities that will affect their career goals.

Upon his tour visit, started in the Capital Banjul, Mbenga will assess areas of concern in abating drugs and crimes in the sports industry.

" As a good patriotic citizen I believe it should be the duties of everyone to contribute his or her quota to the development of the country".

"I urge sports stakeholders and Coaches to be mentoring young athletes the dangers of illicit drugs in society and the FIFA Anti Doping Rules and Regulations", he addressed.

Coach Tejan Yullah welcome the kind gesture and complement Mr. Mbenga effort's with the Agency in abating drugs.

Mr. Mbenga will continue the tour visit to various sporting bodies including academy football clubs in order to access the situation and areas affecting young athletes.

This will guide his Foundation's projects to highlights potential opportunities for these young athletes.

Former Sierra Leonean International Footballer Lamin Bangura Finally Laid To Rest

Late Coach Lamin Bangura a former elite player in Sierra Leone who have made numerous appearances for the Leone National Team before becoming a coach was reported death in a fatal road accident.

On Wednesday late night he was involved in a fatal road accident while traveling for an away match to Keneba with players of Ports Authority FC a First Division Club in Freetown .

Several players and Coaching staff were also involved in the fatal accident that involved many to be hospitalized.

WORLD'S TALLEST BUILDING

The world's tallest building is Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

It is exactly 828-metre-tall (2,717 ft) and has 163 floors plus 2 underground.

It's Construction began on 21 September 2004, with the exterior of the structure completed on 1 October 2009.

Buy the time of it's completion, a record of 12,000 workmen had been involved in it's construction.

The building is designed with a complex Y-shaped cross section to reduce the effect of wind.

Burj Khalifa is owned by Emaar Properties, a business founded by billionaire Mohamed Ali Alabbar, but it was built by Samsung C&T of South Korea, BESIX of Belgium, and Arabtech of the United Arab Emirates.

The building houses hotel and luxury residences, offices, observation decks, restaurants and health facilities.

The Gidan Rumfa (Palace of Emir Rumfa) is the oldest and most expansive traditional palace in Northern Nigeria. Located in the heart of ancient Kano city, it covers an area of about 14 hectares.

It was built by Sarkin Muhammadu Rumfa (King Muhammad Rumfa) who ruled from 1463 to 1499 during which time the Kano Emirate served as the seat of power throughout Northern Nigeria.
