Brooklyn show last night was an event of great bittersweet exultation. Long Island repped hard, both old and new. At the center was the band that really defines the timelessness of our little scene from the 90’s and onward. It was amazing to see all the new bands killing it but also playing homage to old school folks who helped build what they are continuing today. RIP Rich. I know you somehow felt all the love that was being sent your way. The night was filled with old friends realizing how special the community of misfits we have really is. That kind of love and respect can’t be manufactured or marketed. It comes out of necessity for human interaction and acceptance that happens to revolve around a love for music. We were all there for each other and for Rich. There was no better way to pay tribute to your legacy. my friend. Silent Majority is and will always be the best.
