“Pentatonic” is now available everywhere you stream music.

Chinese music dates back to the dawn of Chinese civilization with documents and artifacts of a well developed musical culture as early as the Zhou Dynasty (1122 BCE - 256 BCE). The Jiahu bone flute is the earliest known wind instrument in the world, dating back 9,000 years.

Chinese music uses the “Pentatonic” scale. This means it uses a scale of five notes for melodies.

I have always felt disconnected from my heritage, until recently, when making beats finally created that connection for me.
