BORDERLINE CINEMA is a motion picture production company originally formed as BORDERLINE ENTERTAINMENT in 1993 to produce independent features for world-wide home video release. In 2014, BORDERLINE CINEMA's owner and president Ronnie Sortor altered the name to reflect the company's evolution into an editing/post production service primarily for feature-length movies. Sortor wrote, directed and edi

ted the horror-genre feature films, SINISTRE (1994) and RAVAGE (1996). He also coproduced and edited the features, LIVING A ZOMBIE DREAM (1995) and KITTY KILLERS (1998) for filmmaker Todd Reynolds as well as several short films and television commercials. In 2005, Sortor made the short horror film, "Remains" which was the last project offered by Borderline Entertainment. Retired from filmmaking for nearly a decade, Sortor was enthusiastically brought back into the world of low-budget genre cinema with the invitation to edit the critically-acclaimed film, FLOWERS for Philadelphia, PA director Phil Stevens. Sortor's duties expanded to 2nd Unit Director, Coproducer, Sound Designer, and Sound Effects Editor. The finished film became the flagship title for the new BORDERLINE CINEMA, where further expansion into the realm of motion picture distribution including DVD distribution and streaming video...
