When you travel between Banff and Lake Louise, you'll notice these bridges that serve an important purpose for wildlife in Banff National Park🐻

There are six wildlife overpasses and 38 underpasses that allow wildlife to safely cross the highway without risking collisions with vehicles 🚗

Highway fencing has reduced wildlife-vehicle collisions by over 80% and by more than 96% for elk and deer alone 🦌

We all have an important role to play in wildlife conservation, so please obey the posted speed limits and give wildlife plenty of space (at least 100 metres).
