was our newest signing this year, and we are so proud of all he accomplished in 2025! this year he hosted season two of “GeneratioNS - Black Memories of Nova Scotia”, released four excellent songs from his upcoming record 1783 (“Scotia Born”, “What Are You Sayin’”, “Gallows”, and “Holy”), and was honoured with the “Black Artist Recognition Award” by Creative Nova Scotia. his song “What Are You Sayin’” was included in ’s “Top 100 Canadian Songs of 2025”. we are so excited to be working with this amazing artist and community builder and we can’t wait to see what 2026 brings! ⭐️

we signed montreal legends this year, and what a first year it’s been - the release of their ninth (!) record ‘Life Is Beautiful! Life Is Beautiful! Life Is Beautiful!’ was everything we’d hoped it’d be. the band received a bunch of great press for the record, including from , , , , and . Murray and Natalia also did a memorable interview with on , and Murray was awarded a Canadian Screen Award for ‘Best Original Music in a Feature Length Documentary’. The Dears hosted a listening session for festival, toured in Quebec and Ontario, and are set to tour in the EU/UK in 2026. another great year in the epic history of The Dears 💫

released their third full-length album, “Kit-Cat”, this year, garnering acclaim from the likes of , , & , and further solidifying the trio as some of ontario’s favourite indie rockers. they played a whole whack of rockin’ shows in 2025 too, including a x showcase, and many many wonderful ontario shows! congrats Neil, Mel, & Fraser on another awesome year!

’s singular magic permeated our world in new and wonderful ways this year - most strikingly with the release of ‘when i paint my masterpiece’, which was received with love by many fabulous publications, including , , , & . Ali also graced the covers of some wicked playlists in 2025. she took the record on tour, playing beautiful shows all over canada and the united states, and in the united kingdom. she released two awesome covers with .

Ali continued to bring her gift of visual art to us this year, as always creating unique and beautiful paintings as well as the weird and wonderful creatures featured in her “midnight magic” music video.

’s 2025 kicked off with the release of ‘Humanhood’, a stirring, striking record met with rave reviews from the likes of , , , , , , & , to name a few. and her song “Neon Signs” was nominated for the SOCAN Polaris Song Prize.

we also saw Tamara illuminated on billboards in Toronto’s Yonge-Dundas Square thanks to and , and featured on the covers of many great playlists. she took the record on tour, too, playing tons of memorable shows in Canada, the US, and the EU/UK.

but the success of ‘Humanhood’ wasn’t the only accomplishment of the year for Tamara - as always, she inspired and educated us with her activism, and was selected by the to write a skillful op-ed calling for courageous climate action. She also released an artful interpretation of ’s “Looks Just Like The Sun”, featured on ‘ANTHEMS: A Celebration Of Broken Social Scene’s You Forgot It In People’.

finally (and perhaps most excitingly?!), Tamara announced her pregnancy at the end of this year! we are so proud of Tamara for all her incredible accomplishments in 2025, and so excited to see what 2026 brings! 🤍
