Grumbacher acrylic paints came out in the 1960’s possible 1963. Acrylic paints are the paints I prefer and as you can tell by the inside door of my project box Grumbacher is all I use. It’s artist grade paint lacking in fillers with pure pigments. Grumbacher is the best investment an artist can invest in.

Customer came into Michael’s today. We had a big truck so I was behind on aisles. Happened to be on our marker aisle. Customer said he would need the markers this girl used in her video. After 10 minutes he still didn’t know the markers. The person didn’t list the markers she used in her tutorial. I said let me see the video I might be able to tell you by what they look like. He showed me the video on his phone. I know those markers! They were markers. Told him that they can be purchased from and they will be coming directly from Leeds Massachusetts! He pulled up the website for Chartpak and said oh yeah those are the markers and that’s a really good price for them! And people wonder why I’m still in retail. We saw Instagram last month shared the tumblers they were gonna sell. A sand worm tumbler was on the third shelf at the end. Come to find out they are not actually going to be selling that particular tumbler. My kid who has autism wanted that cup and worked hard at good behavior to earn it. With the help of my acrylic markers and the purple tumbler at I was able to knock out a sand worm tumbler with the limited amount of time I have today. Can’t wait to see the look on her face when she gets off the school bus.
Full pigmented markers are what saved my sanity.

There is no photo editing to this picture. What you see is not a rare jewel but glow paint I make myself. It’s finally ready to go on canvas. Look at how pretty the drop of paint is next to my Grumbacher paint on my well used pallet.
