Forget Buc-ee’s! If you’re heading down I-95 on your way to the beaches of North or South Carolina, you’ve got to stop at DeWayne's in Selma (NC). After passing by a zillion times, editor Sue Long finally stopped at the urging of her buddy, Elaine Florida.

What started as a roadside stand in 1991 is now a 40,000-square-foot extravaganza of fashion, pet products, greenhouses and … any style of Christmas you could possibly dream up. Sue couldn’t decide between plants or ornaments, so she bought both.

“Celebrate Lancaster” returns to downtown Lancaster (Visit Lancaster City) on August 14, honoring the city’s vibrant residents and culture! The event will feature food trucks, artisan vendors, live music, a brand-new free Kid Zone and a performance by Grammy Award-winning R&B group 112.

The Pittsburgh Steelers recently began their 2026 Training Camp sessions! During sessions that are open to the public, visitors get to see the team prepping for the upcoming season and take advantage of photo ops and other activities. The Steelers’ preseason officially begins on August 13, where the team will take on the Green Bay Packers at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh.

The show attracts more than 700 crafters/makers from the U.S. and Canada, featuring a wide selection of handmade crafts, clothing, seasonal items, jewelry, home décor and more. Middle Creek hosts the keystone state’s premier wildlife art show, this year’s iteration is set for July 31 through August 2 at the Pennsylvania Game Commission - Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area.
