Forged in Pittsburgh’s industrial shadow, Unreal City have always sounded like a product of their environment. Their 2020 sophomore album, Cruelty of Heaven, hit hard on Closed Casket Activities—but momentum stalled during the COVID shutdowns. Vocalist Joseph Sanderson eventually relocated to Southeast Asia, where he became a three-time Muay Thai champion.

We are excited to welcome Denver’s EYES OF SALT to the WAR Records roster.

Eyes of Salt are a Denver, Colorado hardcore band formed in 2021. Blending melodic tension with metallic weight, the band has quickly carved out a sound rooted in intensity and intent. Recently signed to Los Angeles based WAR Records, Eyes of Salt will release their upcoming full length, Collapse Of The Infinite, in late Spring 2026.

Drawing inspiration from bands like Incendiary, Modern Life is War, Hope Conspiracy, and Comeback Kid, Collapse Of The Infinite is a politically charged statement that confronts the current social climate, class disparity, and the realities of mental health and personal struggle. Rather than leaning on empty aggression, Eyes of Salt prioritize substance, writing songs that aim to provoke thought and evoke a wide emotional response. With a growing reputation and new material on the horizon, the band will appear in Denver with Bane and Rotting Out on January 31 and follow up with a run through California in March.
