Latin Dance in Motion

An afternoon of rhythm, movement, and connection captured on the dance floor in Kelowna.

From the concentration behind each step to the spontaneous smiles that happen between them, Latin dance is a conversation expressed through movement. Every dancer brings something different to the floor, but rhythm creates a common language.

It was a pleasure capturing Warren and this wonderful group of dancers as they shared their knowledge, energy, and love of Latin dance.

Here are a few moments captured at Frind Estate Winery during another wonderful evening hosted by the Kelowna Salsa Bachata Kizomba Society (KSBK).

These photos were taken while filming new scenes for the upcoming documentary, Salsa Saved Me, which explores the power of connection, belonging, and the community that has grown around salsa here in the Okanagan.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who welcomed us, shared a smile, posed for a photo, or simply enjoyed the evening. Thank you as well to Frind Estate Winery for opening your beautiful venue and helping create such a welcoming atmosphere.
