As Bogue LP shipments are being prepared this week, we figured we’d make another announcement for an upcoming release that excites us a great deal!

Joe Jack Talcum (The Dead Milkmen) and Chris Oliver (VELLOWS) band together to create BASEMENT BLENDERS, a full-length collection of Talcum’s songs with added instrumentation by Oliver. Of course, this release will excite Dead Milkmen fans alongside fans of weirdo experimentation.

Several different color variants are being prepped, alongside other special editions- we just wanted to hip everyone to this news because of how excited we are. Having listened to The Dead Milkmen for pretty much the entirety of our lives, it’s an honor to work alongside Joe to make this release happen.

In stores everywhere this May, with more information to be revealed in the coming weeks.

A few years ago, we thought people still bought CDs so we ordered what seems like millions of CDs for a handful of Jett Plastic titles. At Found Sound in Ferndale, pick up some FREE CDs while supplies last! Once these Todd Albright CDs disappear we’ll replace them with one of the other titles. Help drag us back away from the digital age while helping us clear out our storage! It’s a win-win for everybody!

In the world of vinyl, test pressings are used to approve the audio quality of a record before final copies are made and mailed out around the world. Normally, only 5-10 test pressings are made to distribute amongst band members and the label. Over the last ten years we’ve accumulated a small number of extra test pressings, and now we’ve opened the vaults to YOU, the loyal consumer! From now until 7/24 at 5pm, every order of $25 or more on the Jett Plastic site (link in bio, of course!) will include a mystery test pressing. After a specific title? Leave it in the order notes! No promises, but we’ll see what we can do!
