The AMV Filmmakers Association is a group designed to help facilitate collaboration and creativity a Synced Together is currently in its production phase.

Anime Music Video (AMV) editing is a multicultural art form and fan-creation activity that consists of utilizing one or more animation sources (of Japanese origin), in combination with one or more audio tracks, to create fan-made music videos. With main community hubs located in the United States, France, Germany, Russia, Spain, and Australia, the creation of AMVs occurs in all continents of the w

orld, inspiring creativity and collaboration. The AMV Filmmakers Association is a group designed to help communicate these stories, as well as to help fellow AMV editors create films of their own. The Association's first major project is a feature-length documentary called: "Synced Together: AMVs & Their Editors." The film will explore the Anime Music Video (AMV) phenomenon — its history, culture, and community — as well as illustrate the importance of AMVs in the lives of editors and fans alike.
