With the CSMA SHS Intramurals 2025-2026 coming to a close, we reflect on the strands that brought the hype from beginning to end. Monicans showed up with unstoppable energy and determination, filling every court, match, and screen with loud cheers and teamwork. These players carried their strand colors with pride, giving their all in every game. The competition has been intense, and the final battles, championship games, and awarding ceremony are set to take place this Monday. These are the players who carried the colors of their strands with pride and pushed through every game with grit and fire. The moment to recognize every strand’s dedication is nearly here!

Anne of Green Gables is a beautiful novel that portrays resilience and the quiet strength that comes with womanhood. Even though Anne Shirley grew up as an orphan and had a tough childhood, she chose to face life with enthusiasm, creativity, and joy. She always found beauty in simple things, even on days when everything felt heavy. That’s what made her so inspiring; she proved that hope can exist even in the simplest moments. Anne is spirited, talkative, and dreamy, and while she often gets herself into trouble, she never loses her warmth or curiosity. I loved her relationships with the people around her, especially with Matthew, Diana, and Gilbert who watched her grow into an intelligent, genuine, and compassionate young woman. Lucy Maud Montgomery didn’t just write a coming-of-age story; she created something lighthearted yet meaningful, exploring trauma, friendship, and love in a way that stays with you. Anne and Gilbert’s relationship felt natural, starting from rivalry and slowly turning into respect, admiration, and love. When I say “to enjoy being a woman,” I mean the way the book celebrates the little joys and challenges of growing up—learning who you are, finding your voice, and understanding that there is strength in softness, imagination, kindness, and resilience. Montgomery shows that womanhood isn’t just about maturity; it’s about embracing your emotions, valuing your dreams, and choosing to see beauty even when life gets hard.

Sa darating na Nobyembre 13, 14, at 15, magtungo na sa Gym 2 at ihanda ang sarili sa mga palarong tiyak na magkapagbibigay sa iyo ng kilig, saya, at ligalig! Sa halagang ₱30 na Classic Ticket, maaari mo nang tuklasin ang iyong tadhana sa larong Jackstone, Piko, Chinese garter, at Tic-Tac-Toe. Kung gusto mo pang patagalin ang iyong karanasan, maaari mo ring subukan ang ₱50 Premium Ticket na may dagdag na tatlong palaro: Tali ng Kapalaran, Palabunutan, at Laro ng Kulay! 🌟📣Monicans are you ready!? 📣🌟

There is one day remaining for the most-awaited event to ever reach the shores of these students who faced countless hardships and battles to sustain their ever-growing pile of achievements.

Have you already practiced and prepared yourselves to take on the challenges you will face throughout the week? Have you already dreamt of getting the trophies and the medals you will attain? We shall wait no longer, as these moments are almost at your grasp. Prepare yourselves and hone your skills and talents throughout this week before the time is up. Though we must always remember that each battle has a loser and a winner, we must be courteous and accept whatever happens in the battles we partake in; proper decorum and sportsmanship should still be observed with every match that occurs. No enemies shall be created this week, but only joyous memories and friendships along the way.

As we prepare our own talents and skills for this week, do not forget to encourage each side of the match, showing full and utmost respect and honour for the fight they have shown to your team, always remembering that each one of us is from the same shared experiences with different perspectives. Where you must not boast or criticize others' batch on their performance, but simply accept the outcome of each event. Let's do our best to perform to our utmost potential during this week! And hope none of us will be injured or hurt in the events that will transpire.

As the sixteen chapters ended, Gail Carriger's "Prudence" made me realise how freedom and curiosity can shape a person's identity. Prudence Akeldama, also known as Rue, isn’t just a witty and adventurous hero—she represents the struggle between heritage and uniqueness, between who we are told to be and who we want to become. The combination of humor, dignity, and courage in the story reminds me that true confidence comes from embracing who you are, even when others don’t fully understand you.
