The Telangana government has finalized the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards procedures and issued G.O. MS No. 25 (I&PR) dated 11.3.2025, fulfilling CM Revanth Reddy’s promise. The awards will honor one best film per year from 2014 to 2023, along with special awards named after Paidi Jayaraj and Kantha Rao. The M. Prabhakar Reddy Award for popular films will continue. In a first, awards will also be given to Urdu-language films in the feature film category.
