This evening we popped down to The Black Country Living Museum for a couple of hours and just like a few other attractions they are currently doing selected Doggy Days till the end of December 2025

It is currently their Christmas event however apart from the odd Christmas decoration here and there we didn’t actually see anything that was remotely Christmasy lol

The museum itself is really good and gives you a step back in time of the old days of a mining town in Dudley, there’s busses, old time shops, a banging old school chippy and amazing vintage funfair

With your admission price you get a full 12 month annual pass included which is great value, there is also a paid car park and since our last visit 7yrs ago they have built a brand new entrance plaza with a huge gift shop

We visited our local festive light trail this evening at Garth Park in Bicester and for just £8 per person it’s a bargain

We took it steady and only took us 20mins to walk around it, for a small event put on by Bicester Town Council they did a fantastic job setting it up

Unfortunately I heard it’s the last one ever as they only had a 5 year contract, it’s such a shame when something local we enjoyed has to end

The 4th and final day of my mini trip to Madrid took me back into the beautiful city centre where I basically back tracked what we did a few days earlier, but this time all on my own

I had a look around the Madrid Cathedral which took 110yrs to build and you can see why as it’s entirely made out of carved stone, I also had an amazing Chinese meal (yes I know it’s not an authentic Spanish meal) lol

I also did something I’ve never done before and that’s film a travel vlog on the way home, sadly the plane I was supposed to fly back on was cancelled and my window seat was changed to a middle seat for no reason

I absolutely loved my trip Madrid and I can safely say I can not wait to visit again, this beautiful and historic city really is something you have to see for your own eyes, yes there are some dodgy bits but mostly it’s truly breathtaking

Day 3 of my 4 day trip to Madrid took us to the very underrated Parque de Atracciones which we all enjoyed and had an amazing day even tho it was absolutely freezing cold lol

This theme park is another one I have heard about for such a long time and have wanted to visit for ages and I am glad I went, it was better then I expected and wasn’t too busy

The park is home to 6 operating coasters and a few other rides including an awesome Walking Dead walkthrough, the main draw here is the absolutely crazy Abismo which I hated and Tornado which we all enjoyed

Overall the park is very pretty and has some well rounded rides, there is even a Nickelodeon theme area, unfortunately there wasn’t many food places open and their Christmas lights were not turned on

Day 2 of my 4 day trip to Madrid Spain was amazing as I visited the awesome Parque Warner Madrid for the very first time and I loved it, I have wanted to visit for many years and I’m glad I went

I visited the park with a ton of friends new and old as part of a Your Experience Guide event, for just £60 this included park admission, a €10 food voucher and an incredible 1hr ERT on Batman Gotham City Escape

Unfortunately there was a few closed rides including Stunt Fall plus a lack of places to eat, the park was very busy and it was freezing cold……however the park has 3 of the best coasters in Europe

I absolutely loved the theming around the park with it being movie based, my favourite rides where definitely Superman, Shadows of Arkham and of course Batman Gotham City Escape

Day 1 of my recent 4 day trip to Madrid Spain went really well and I had an amazing time, Madrid is definitely up there as one of the best places I’ve ever visited, I can’t wait to visit again in the future

I flew out from Stansted Airport to Madrid Barajas Airport with Ryanair and it was around a 2hrs 30min flight, it went ok but not so great with no entertainment and sat in a cramped seat

Once landed it was super easy getting through security and passport control and onto Avis where I rented my Opel Corsa car which was only £49 for 4 days……bargain

A few of us then went to Babylon Park to get on their coaster and few other small rides, this place was so much fun and located on the outside of a huge shopping centre

We then jumped back in the car and drove into Madrid city centre which I personally think is one of the most beautiful city centres I’ve ever experienced, there was so much to see here

After that I headed to my hotel which was the Ibis Budget and for my 3 night stay it was £198 which wasn’t bad at all, we then went to an excellent Chinese buffet restaurant that had live entertainment

Great entrance to Madrid as we flew right over Parque Warner 👌🏻 good job I wasn’t sat on the other side of the plane lol

Dead easy to get here from the UK and was a 2hr 15min flight, it’s not the best experience in a cramped seat with Ryanair tho

Join me for 4 days in sunny Spain as I visit 2 new to me theme parks and do some sightseeing…..first stop is Babylon Park for a +1 cred

This weekend the 29th - 30th November 2025 I will be visiting Parque Warner for the very first time, huge thanks to Your Experience Guide for putting on this group event

There is going to be around 90+ enthusiasts heading over to the park and we all can’t wait to our 1hr VIP rides on the incredible looking Batman Gotham City Escape

I myself will be in Madrid, the capital city of Spain for 4 full days with a flight out on Ryanair, I will be checking out the historic city, some sightseeing and will also be visiting Parque de Atracciones

There will hopefully be 4 vlogs from this trip including a travel vlog, 2 theme parks and a sightseeing day if all goes to plan (tbh I haven’t really planned anything) I can’t wait

A good friend of mine sent me these amazing pictures to share of the brand new Aviktas coming in 2026 at Pleasure Beach Resort

From outside the park this massive Intamin Giant Gyro Swing already looks huge and it will be a fantastic addition to the park

I have rode Loki at Liseberg in Sweden before and it’s amazing, even for those that are not keen on intense flat rides these are great

Well there you go the DJI Osmo Action 6 has literally just been released (well apart from in China as they have had it week)

Will you be getting the latest action camera ? I am still impressed with my Action 4 and don’t see the need to upgrade just yet but who knows

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland is back for the 2025 season and this year there is another brand NEW coaster for all you cred hunters, just giving you a heads up if you wasn’t aware about this as no one else has spoken about it

For many years Ice Mountain which is a standard layout Reverchon Spinning Wild Mouse has been a staple ride at the event, it has also been many variations from different parks and owned by different showmen

It is still a Spinning Wild Mouse however it is the built in-house version called Snow Drift which is owned by Mellors, it was located at Fantasy Island for a couple of years but didn’t open till August 2025

Unfortunately I waited ages for this new coaster to open up which it did unannounced towards the back end of the season, by the time it did open I didn’t have the change to go and give it a ride
