The College of Teacher Education (CTE) Department of Tayabas Western Academy (TWA) celebrated the second day of Education Day by taking a beautiful, nostalgic trip back to childhood. Future educators enthusiastically stomped into the gymnasium to immerse themselves in a lively session of palarong lahi.
โ€‹
โ€‹This memorable event underscored the vital connection between education and cultural preservation. By playing various classic street games such as; patintero, luksong tinik, sack race, bato bola, hulahoop, pitik, water catching, water pitcher relay, pukpok palayok and pahanggitan.

These future teachers demonstrated their commitment to integrating Filipino heritage. It was a joyful, spirited celebration that proved that learning about our roots can be the most fun lesson of all.

๐€๐ฆ๐š๐ณ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐‘๐š๐œ๐ž: ๐€ ๐๐š๐ญ๐ญ๐ฅ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐–๐ข๐ญ, ๐’๐ฉ๐ž๐ž๐, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐’๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ ๐ฒ!

The excitement filled the air on Day 2 of Education Day at Tayabas Western Academy as one of the most anticipated race events, the Amazing Race, took place! Five energetic groups of Academicians competed in an action-packed challenge where intelligence, speed, and teamwork were put to the test.

The game consisted of five stations, each featuring a unique challenge that every group had to complete. But it wasnโ€™t that simpleโ€”before moving on to the next station, each group had to figure out the correct location through clues they received after completing every task. The group that finished all the stations the fastest and most efficiently was crowned the winner.

As time raced on, the campus was filled with tension, cheers of support, and excitement from both participants and spectators.

On December 13, 2025, at Tayabas Western Academy, the Day 2 session of the Future Educatorsโ€™ Forum: Service featured Maโ€™am Josephine S. Arquiza, LPT, MAEd, who addressed the students of College of Teacher Education (CTE) with the theme โ€œThe Noble Service.โ€ She emphasized that teaching is not merely a profession but a lifelong vocation that shapes individuals and society.

She concluded by describing teacher service as a distinctive professional calling, rooted in the responsibility of nurturing human capitalโ€”developing learnersโ€™ knowledge, skills, values, and character. The session left CTE participants inspired and reminded that teaching is a noble service central to nation-building.

As part of the Future Educators Forum, the concurrent session on Innovation was held at Tayabas Western Academy's ComLab. This session focused entirely on innovation in the classroom, specifically on how future educators can adopt changes in teaching. It explored ways they can acquire new ideas, strategies, tools, and effective approaches to enhance teaching and learning. This concurrent session was truly enlightening and served as a powerful reminder that adopting changes is an essential act. It enables future educators to continuously refine their teaching methods to meet challenges and prepare the next generation for a rapidly evolving future.

An inspiring Education Forum was held today, December 12, at Tayabas Western Academy's Gymnasium during the Second day of the College of Teacher's Education's first ever Education Day.

Led by Lorena S. Walangsumbat, OIC Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, the forum emphasized that the core of teaching excellence lies in dedication, continuous learning, and genuine care for learners.

The discussion focused on holistic excellence, reminding educators that true excellence goes beyond academic performance and includes values, character, and well-being. The forum also emphasized the power of reflection and growth, encouraging educators to reflect on their practices and continuously improve for the benefit of their students and the community.

As part of the continuation of celebrating Education Day, the school quadrangle of Tayabas Western Academy turned extra lively as the College of Teacher Education (CTE) kicked off the morning with an energetic Zumba session. Students and teachers gathered early, ready to sway, groove, and sweat it out.

Leading the fun were Christine Mae Toledo, Sebastien Enrique Uri, Earl Justin Clavo, and Ben Landicho, who hyped up the crowd with their upbeat steps and contagious energy.

The smiles, cheers, and dance moves of everyone filled the quadrangle as they enjoyed the perfect combo of fitness and funโ€”celebrating the powerful spirit of future educators.

It was truly a refreshing way to start the day!

An Epic Lip-Sync Battle between TWA's finest performers was held today, December 12, at the Tayabas Western Academy's Gym during the First day of the College of Teacher Education's first-ever Education Day.

Seven of the best performers the College of Teacher Education had to offer took center stage as they battle it out to crown the first-ever Lip Sync Battle Champion. The emotions are high and the energy of the crowd was unmatched. These 7 showed why they belong on the stage as they showcased their technical accuracy, stage presence, and creativity. They showed why they belong on the stage and why they had what it takes to be the Champion
