Harvest From The Deep Harvest From The Deep is a new printed magazine. First issue now sold out! Second issue due September 2015

Harvest From The Deep magazine is born out of sport, fashion, music, and anything else we turn to in order to escape the mundanity and stresses of working life. The title is an interpretation of how, historically, people have drawn upon the depths of the land and the sea in order to live and survive. Whether through fishing and shipping, or through mining and agriculture, and all of which we see i

n steady decline. There are no strict rules at Harvest From The Deep, we will feature our national game at all levels, likewise with music and fashion, and we are open to talk about, review or feature a wholesome and healthy mix of topics by our team of writers and from guest writers, on anything which we think will be of interest to you. Some of the profits generated from sales will go to help our local non-league football club North Shields FC, and we will also contribute to a charitable organisation called checkemlads.com - which was set up for testicular cancer awareness and support. Thank you for coming here, we hope you will consider purchasing our first edition, and we hope you nod in agreement in places, and feel informed or inspired in others. You can let us know your thoughts here or on twitter

Re Hector Gannet and their work with CREW GAL : "Musically, the Northeastern collective have created a sweeping, hymn-like piece that folds church bells, brass and a youth choir into their rugged folk-rock DNA. Over its seven-minute runtime, the track unfolds beautifully, matching the cinematic quality of its accompanying video." -

This looks and sounds magnificent by Hector Gannet - with artwork by the brilliant Marcus Reed as well. 👌

The brilliantly talented Hilton Valentine is the only person from North Shields to be inducted into the official Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. That should be celebrated in a big way really, but to rest your weary limbs in a place where he was inspired, is a lovely thing in itself.
