Take a moment to say a prayer for Lt Col Niranjan E Kumar, NSG Commando who laid down his life defending the Nation in the early morning today. Lt Col Niranjan was a member of the NSG's Bomb Disposal Squad and was killed while defusing a gr***de at the scene of the terror attack at as part of the combing operation. Four other security men were also injured in the blast.
Lt Col Niranjan hailed from Elambulassery, Palakkad in Kerala, and is survived by his wife and an 18-month-old daughter.
