Green Jïant – Self-Titled (Reissue)

Doomsayer Records is proud to announce the long-awaited reissue of Green Jïant’s classic self-titled album—a foundational slab of true DIY stoner doom, crafted from the ground up by the late Jud Olszowka, known to many for his work with Hog Mountain.

This re-release carries a special weight. Jud and I began discussing bringing this record back into the world years before his passing—preserving his early vision, his tone, his grit, and the unmistakable spirit he poured into every riff. Now feels like the right moment to honor that conversation, and to celebrate the raw, homegrown heaviness that defined Green Jïant.

The self-titled debut stands as an artifact of pure underground doom:

Thick, fuzzed-out riffs baked in the Georgia heat

Earth-moving low end and hypnotic grooves

A real DIY ethos, captured in basements, garages, and late-night sessions
