The Josie Music Awards is the world’s largest independent music award show & is being held at the Grand Ole Opry House, November 2nd.

We are blessed to get to do what we do & have an amazing team here at the WoodShed. We love working with many artists who trust us to bring their songs to life & we take pride in each & every track.

Look who came over today, Andy Wallis, our friend, fellow Arkansan, and very talented, award-winning producer! We’ve been wanting to get together for a while and finally nailed down a day to meet, share ideas, make some 2025 plans and hang!

Cliff has known Andy for years. Andy’s dad, Jim Wallis, was part of Cliff’s inspiration behind becoming a mix engineer and shadowed in his studio ~2005.

The Arkansas Country Music Awards were incredible! The night was full of excitement & amazing performances. The house band & the production was on point. It was a wonderful time!

Our very own Andy Wallis brought home Music Producer of the Year!

And “Just The Same” by BIG Shane Thornton, Justin Keith & Andy Wallis, written by Shane & Luke Williams (2023 Guitar Player of the Year), brought home Collaboration of the Year!

We are beyond thankful & grateful for this achievement! Thank you all for listening & voting!

Exciting news!!

THORNTON, KEITH, AND WALLIS TO PERFORM AT AWARDS SHOW

The multi-nominated collaboration of Big Shane Thornton, Justin Keith, and Andy Wallis will perform at the 2024 Arkansas Country Music Awards on Monday, June 3 at the Reynolds Performance Hall on the campus of the University of Central Arkansas in Conway.

Thornton, Keith, and Wallis are finalists for Video of the Year, Song of the Year, and Music Collaboration of the Year for “Just the Same.” Additionally, Wallis is a final nominee for Music Producer of the Year.

They join previously announced main stage performers Linda Davis, Mandy Barnett, Mae Estes, David Adam Byrnes, Tyler Kinch, Tom Yankton, Midnight South, 4Runner, and Sylamore Special. More perfomer announcements are forthcoming.

The show will be co-hosted by country music journalist and historian Charles Haymes and Miss Arkansas 2014 Ashton Gill.
