I was recently insulted and criticized by people who saw a picture of me on the mall's page. It was partly my fault, as I was so excited to be with my friends and cosplay at the mall that I didn't take the time to check how the photo looked. In the picture, my pose was awkward, my face looked strange, and my costume was a mess.

So, lighting and “know your camera angle” is a game-changer. The most detailed cosplay costume and expertly applied cosplay makeup will shine with the right lighting and angle.
